How many hours of learning will I do?
There will be 150 hrs of learning in total which will include 50hrs of Guided Learning , 50 hrs of Individual collaborative learning and 50 hrs of work based learning.
What is the process of Learning?
The spiral of professional learning in a Cambridge PDQ programme depends particularly on three processes:
- observation
- reflection
- learning with and from mentors
- - These processes work together. It is crucial that learners will receive feedback to inform their continuous reflection on their learning experiences.
- - Observation and reflection will be provided with the support of a mentor. The mentor develops a learning relationship with the candidate, supporting them during their work-based learning to make the most of the learning experience and to achieve the Cambridge qualification.
Is it applicable for a particular subject?
No, It is a part – time course to become a Certified Cambridge Educator. It is not related to one particular subject. Moreover it teaches you how to design your lesson. The candidate choose the subject area of their own choice and create , develop , implement and reflect on the pedagogical strategies learnt during the course.
What kind of assessment is conducted in this course?
There will be 150 hrs of learning in total which will include 50hrs of Guided Learning , 50 hrs of Individual collaborative learning and 50 hrs of work based learning.
How many hours of learning will I do ?
Over the 4 months , the candidate will work on the portfolio which includes 3 units . Each unit comprises of 3 assignments each i.e. Evidence of Practice, Evidence of Learning, Evidence of Reflection. The templates will be provided by the centre with the guidelines to work on it . In the 15th week , the PDQ leader will do a final review of the portfolio and guide the candidate to submit the portfolio to Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE).

Once the portfolio is submitted to CAIE, They will send the result after 2 months. After the result is announced , the certificates will be dispatched within upcoming 2 to 3 weeks.
